Benz Micro ACE L2, high-class MC cartridge: Handmade in Switzerland, the ACE means Advanced Cartridge Engineering. The ACE combines a cost-effective version of the Glider generator with an aluminum frame and acrylic body modeled after the Benz Ruby and Reference. Available in 3 output levels, the ACE Low is red tinted with and output of 0.4mV, the ACE is clear/gold with an output of 0.8mV, and ACE High is blue with an output of 2.5mV. Benz Micro Reference S, reference-class MC cartridge: The successor to our highly regarded MC-2i is incorporated into a body made entirely of Bruyère wood. This reduces body resonances and increases transparency to provide a higher accuracy of musical reproduction.

Benz Micro LP S, reference-class MC cartridge: For years Benz-Micro has been known worldwide to produce some of the most desirable and musical phono cartridges in the world. One cartridge stood above all the rest for representing the ultimate in Benz technology and innovation...the Ruby. After many years of production, the original Ruby was updated with the Series 2 designation reflecting even more refinement and innovation. Now, from the creative minds of Benz designer Albert Lukaschek, US Distributor Garth Leerer from Musical Surroundings, and Portuguese Benz Distributor Luis Pires, comes the next evolution of the Ruby phono cartridge, the Ebony LP. Pires, who was born in Africa and was trained as a Mechanical Engineer, is instrumental in sourcing the special aged Ebony wood from Mozambique that forms the cartridge's outer shell. This rare, extremely dense tonewood, takes over 100 years to grow and mature and is extremely scarce (and is traditionally used to make guitar fretboards, clarinets, etc.) The Benz LP is the most technically advanced design from the famed Swiss manufacturer. Housed in a special, limited edition, aged ebony body; the LP differs from other world-class cartridge designs in that it is supremely musical, it matches the LP's warmth and natural portrayal of instruments.
