Original Electronics is a Chinese manufacturer dedicated to the development, design, production and distribution of high performance digital audio and amplifier products.

On March 1999, China’s first 20Bit HDCD (high definition and digitally compatible) CD player was given birth to at Original Electronics, and at the same time, the first 24Bit high definition digital CD player was created at Original Electronics. These two products gained highly favorable comments from both experts and customers worldwide.

Original's main principle is to produce natural sounding products with the least possible loss of quality during playback. We maintain our own research and development division that is busy improving performance, quality and reliability of our products.

Original products include; high performance 24 Bit, 20 Bit HDCD, 24Bit HDCD cd-players, high-end vacuum tube and solid state amplifiers.
 
Electronic components used in Original designs are high quality European, Japanese and made in USA components, they not only sound far superior but give a much higher reliability to our designs.

Original designs are made using high quality CNC made aluminum and steel parts, they are all designed and made in house, Original is famous for producing rock solid cdp cabinets. For example; Original's CD-2008MK-II and CD-2008SE are designed around a specially made pillar construction, this is done to cancel out resonance and vibrations entering the cdp's cabinet.

Original uses modified Philips laser units for all their cdp designs, except for the new 2006 Original CD-A9.2 which features a Sony laser unit. The Philips and Sony laser unit and laser unit base are modified by Original, all this is done to prevent vibrations reaching the laser unit.

All Original products come with a 12 months limited SSA warranty, unless otherwise specified.
